The S-Tactical Wood is an advancement over the standard over-under shotgun, bringing the platform to the next level for unparalleled versatility, capability and performance. The S-Tactical Wood features a top-mounted picatinny rail for the attachment of red dots and optics as well as a forward underbarrel picatinny rail for accessories. The handguard features M-LOK slots, four on each side for attachment of further accessories to support the user’s requirements. The bottom of the handguard has a built-in hand stop and is finely checkered for a secure grip in all conditions. The barrel is chambered in 12GA 3” magnum and is 18.5” in length for the ideal balance between performance, versatility and range. It is threaded for interchangeable chokes and is rated for steel shot. It is fixed with a red fibre optic front sight for sighting in low-light conditions. The receiver and barrel is finished in a satin grey cerakote finish. The wood is only premium hand-select walnut which is finished in a satin topcoat. For the absolute highest quality NVG film making experience, we have created a way to adapt any Mil-Spec PVS-14 eyepiece to a 49mm thread camera lens. The reason we chose 49mm is that Sony offers multiple lenses with 49mm filter threads that offer fantastic performance with nightvision eyepieces. Proper lens selection is extremely important, a small objective size is necessary as is a design that puts the lens aperture close to the objective. This is because nightvision eyepieces are designed to be used at an eye relief of 25mm or shorter and with an exit pupil of 6mm or smaller (F/4 on a 24mm lens for example) otherwise the lens stacking will introduce significant vignetting and distortion effects. On the front there are 9 small targets that are ideal for the AR-6. There’s a large target on the reverse. So either side of this target can be used according to personal preference. This mat can be shot at with the field tip arrows, hunting broadheads and Bodkin tipped arrows without any problems.
